HOW DO THEY WORK?

There are two ways that one uses electricity. First, to do work – it is the reason that we flip the switch on. We want the washing machine to clean clothes or the ceiling fan blades to spin. In order to do this, we use electromagnetic motors. The second way to use electricity is to convert electrical energy into a magnetic field that motors need to do their work. The motors charge and discharge their magnetic fields 60 times a second for every second that they are running. When they discharge their magnetic field, the magnetic energy is converted back into electrical energy and goes back to the power lines through the neutral wires of your home or office. The Eagle Energy Master captures that electricity before it leaves your home or office and recycles it for every motor or transformer in your home or office. This reduces the amount of electricity so that you are only paying for the first way – to do work. You save money by not having to buy electricity to charge the magnetic fields in the motors or transformers. Most homes can recycle an average of 15% to 25% of the electricity they use. If you use these devices, then the Eagle Energy master can recycle a significant percentage of the electricity that they use – electrical motors such as air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, pool pumps, vacuum cleaners, furnace blower motors, fans. Other devices that use transformers can also recycle electricity with Eagle Energy Master – compact fluorescent lights, cell phone and iPod chargers, TVs, microwaves, home entertainment systems, game consoles, computers, etc. The only common devices that cannot use Eagle Energy Masters to recycle electricity are to create heat such as incandescent light bulbs, toaster ovens, electric stoves, electric water heaters or an electric furnace. The technology applied by the Eagle Energy Master Unit supplies that stored electricity back to your inductive loads, thus causing you to decrease your demand from the utility. If you decrease your demand from the utility, your meter slows down, and you use less electricity. The thought is, you’ve already paid for that electricity, why pay for it and waste it when you can pay for it, store it, and reuse it again. This is ‘recycling’ electricity.

Why use Energy Masters?

When motors in your home or business turn on, they demand from the power company's transformer power. This demand of power from your motor goes through the wires on your property, through the electric panel, through your power meter gauge, up to the transformer and back down through the wiring in your home again to your motor. Throughout this process, the electrical wiring in your home heats up and strains the motor and wiring. This heat generated from this process is called watts.

Motors in your home (such as your Central Air Conditioner, Heat Pump or Pool Pump) are inefficient. When they run, there is lost energy that you are billed for by your energy company but that energy is completely wasted.

The Energy Master recycles (otherwise lost energy/watts) and releases it back to your motor when needed. By doing so, this recycling process reduces the amount of heat on the wires and the motors in your home. Reducing this heat (kilowatts) will lower your electricity bill and lengthen the life of the motors in your home. Inductive Motors are in your Central Air Conditioner, Pool Pumps, Heat Pumps, Refrigerator, Freezer, Washer, Dryer, Ceiling Fans, T-12 Fluorescent Lighting Ballast, etc. Things with copper windings that create electromagnetic fields are inductive loads, like an inverter that turns DC current into AC current.

The Energy Master also shields your home against power surges/spikes. By reducing your demand from the power company, this saves you money $$$$$!

Your Power Company & Large industrial complexes have been using this same technology to save on their energy costs. The Energy Master operates off the same technology. It reuses the otherwise wasted energy and recycles it back to your motors so you have less demand/usage from your power company.

WHY DO I NEED AN ENERGY MASTER?

CAN I USE ONE?

Yes, as long as you can meet the following criteria. First, you should have a circuit breaker panel with breaker switches and not the old screw in type fuses. Second, if you have a backup power generator, it must be a manual start and not an automatic.

WILL IT DAMAGE MY MOTORS?

No, if anything, your motors will run about 10% cooler, which is good for a motor because heat is the enemy of a motor. A motor that runs cooler lasts longer.

WILL IT SAVE ME MONEY?

That depends on many factors. The size of your home, the number of motors and their use, the number of transformers, and the amount you are paying per kilowatt-hour for electricity etc. However, generally speaking users of the product have seen up to 25% in reduced consumption, but the average savings is somewhere in the 15% to 20% range. If you can say yes to more than one of the following questions, then you could be saving a significant amount of money on your electric bill right now!

Is your home over 1800 Square feet?
Do you have a number of appliances in your home?

Do you have a number of electronic devices in your home like chargers, flat screen TVs, home entertainment systems, or computers?
Do you use an air conditioner?
Is your central air conditioner / heat pump unit 3 years or older?
Is your forced air furnace 3 years or older?
Is your refrigerator / freezer not Energy Star rated?
Do you have more than one refrigerator / freezer?
Is your dishwasher not Energy Star rated?
Is your washer / dryer not Energy Star rated?
Do you have a pool?
Do you have a hot tub or a Jacuzzi?
Do you have compact fluorescent lights?

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PAY OFF?

Generally about 9-16 months, but again, the same factors above apply, some will see sooner (9 months), some will see later (16 months).

CAN I INSTALL IT MYSELF?

We recommend installation by an electrician. As a service to our customers, we provide a list of licensed master electricians near you. You are free to choose any electrician and are not obligated to hire an electrician on the referral list. Everything that is needed for typical home installation comes in the kit except for the breakers as these are dependent on the panel manufacturer. This minimizes the charges by the electrician since you do not pay for the time for the electrician to run to the hardware store and back for various parts such as circuit breakers. The time to install depends upon the level of difficulty. For most installations, a licensed electrician can install a home or small office unit in about 30 minutes.

WHY HAVE I NEVER HEARD OF THESE BEFORE?

That’s easy, two words – cost effectiveness. Up until recently, electric rates throughout America were cheap, costing us 2, 3 or 4 cents per kilowatt-hour. Now, electric rates are 8, 10, 12, 14, and 19 and in some cases New York City is 22 cents per kWh, and Hawaii is 33.5 cents per KWh. At the cheaper rates they didn’t make sense, but at the current rates, it makes all the sense in the world. The technology has been around since the early 1900s but only used at large facilities using tremendous amounts of electricity.

The Eagle Energy Master also protects the entire home against power surges. Eagle Energy Master provides a broad range of protection for hardwired appliances and most home electronics such as televisions, satellite equipment, entertainment systems, etc. The unit protects from power line surges as well as spikes caused by internal wiring problems, loose connections and fluctuating demand from large motors such as appliances, vacuum cleaners, heating and cooling equipment, etc.

What Appliances Impact Your Power Bill the most?

When you are trying to reduce your power bill or your customer's power bill, it is important to know where to focus your attention in order to make the largest impact you possibly can.

So, let's take a look at the most common motors you will find in a residential home:

Refrigerators, Washers, & Dryers- According to Energy Star Ratings, the average refrigerator, washer, & dryer only use about $80 per year in electricity each. So, if a home has 3 of these items, all 3 put together would use about $20 a month in electricity. If we reduce 20% off that $20, the customer's savings would be only $4 a month!

So, if you say, "Let's install the Electric Saver on the main panel so that it catches and helps ALL the motors on the property." You are really leaving a lot of savings on the table for your customer. Why?

Central Air Conditioners & Heat Pumps- The average Central Air Conditioner or Heat Pump is about 40-60% of your power bill according to EnergyStar.gov

So, if your power bill is on average about $300 a month that means approximately HALF of your bill is from your Central A/C unit or Heat Pump.

If you reduce 20% off of $150 a month, your savings would be approximately $30 a month. So that is ALOT better savings than $4 (in comparison above)!

A lot of people have power bills that are $1000-$1500 every month (in some regions such as California or the Caribbean Islands) so that savings becomes an even bigger number for those

people.

So, if you install the Energy Master directly to the Central A/C motor or Heat Pump, you are catching all the loss from your Central A/C or Heat pump motor all the way to the power meter.

If that motor is on the back or side of your home, installing an Electric Saver directly to that motor can lower you or your customer's power bill a lot more!
